Holistic Psychiatry
Via Telehealth
Allopathic medications (such as SSRIs, mood stabilizers) will be recommended and prescribed in conjunction with evidence-based supplements and herbal medications as desired. CBT-based therapy is also available, alongside and mindfulness-based meditation.
I see patients ages 14 and above. Not all patients are appropriate for my practice and you are encouraged to consult before making a decision.
Insurances Accepted:
Optum (including United, Oxford, UMR and Oscar), Aetna, and Cigna through Alma.
You will be asked for your debit/credit card information and to keep it up-to-date.
Self-pay and out-of-network patients are also welcome (I can generate a superbill/invoice for insurance submission) and a sliding scale is available. Please do not be afraid to enquire about this; preferential sliding scales will be given to marginalized populations. You will be asked to fill out a sliding scale survey.
These services will be available in NY and CT.
Psychedelic-assisted individual & group therapy
Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) will be prescribed and provided in-person as appropriate. Medicaid does not offer out-of-network benefits for KAP. Self-pay and out-of-network patients are also welcome and I can generate a superbill/invoice for insurance submission.
Patients can also pay out-of-pocket for ketamine psychiatric evaluations. The psychiatric evaluation cost is $260 and the medication dosing sessions themselves (online or in-person, based on evaluation and availability) cost $300 (online)-$400 (in-person). Each required integration session (if you are doing them with me and not with your therapist) after the dosing session itself is $200 each and can be billed to insurances listed above. This can include acupuncture in-person as desired.

For current psychiatric patients
When I am practicing in-person (6-7 months of the year), I will offer acupuncture in Ridgewood, Queens for appropriate clients. Insurance is accepted.

Hormonal Care
For trans, non-binary, gender diverse people with psychiatric diagnosis (will treat both together)
Hormonal care for trans, non-binary, gender expansive people will be offered as an adjunct to psychiatric care for clients. I have provided hormonal care for trans patients since 2008.
